Federal Update: Bipartisan Budget Passed & Increases Arts
The US Congress agreed on a budget to fund the federal government through the end of September (the remainder of fiscal year 2017) and it increases funding for arts and culture.

"The agreement will not only allow the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to continue to do their good work of funding nonprofit arts and humanities organizations in all 50 states and every Congressional district, but it will also allocate $2 million more to each agency..."
