For Arts in Education Week, Sept. 13-19, we are sharing the refreshed Oklahoma Arts Education Data Dashboard. The dashboard gives students, families, educators and community leaders a closer look at where visual and performing arts programs are available in Oklahoma schools.

Arts in Education Week is Sept. 13-19. It’s a chance to celebrate the role the arts play in students’ lives and take a closer look at the opportunities available in our schools.

Shelly Black has seen students find a reason to stay in school through the arts.
As an art and music teacher at Warner Public Schools, she has watched students grow through choir and band, from earning All State opportunities to simply making it to graduation.
“I have students who wouldn’t have graduated if not for choir and band.”
