Oklahomans for the Arts (OFTA) is Oklahoma’s nonpartisan arts advocacy organization.

Representing Oklahoma’s arts and culture sector, we advise policy makers and elected officials on the benefits of supporting pro-arts policies, granting public funding, and protecting arts education. We seek to secure equitable access to the arts for all Oklahomans.

Income for OFTA’s operations and programs is derived from foundation and corporate support, as well as organization and individual member contributions. Contributions made to OFTA enables us to provide advocacy events, resources, and programming to all of Oklahoma’s citizens, as well as employing a lobbyist on a contractual basis to ensure active participation in the legislative process. Supporting OFTA supports every arts organization, artist, and student in Oklahoma.
